Experience the fjord on a private cruise with an experienced local captain. As you glide past the only glacier in mainland Europe that calves directly into the ocean, you’ll take in breathtaking scenery while hearing seafaring tales shared with warmth and character. Your journey leads you along the fjord’s mouth, giving you the chance to discover bird and animal life, and - between mid-October and early January - perhaps even encounter majestic whales. Along the way you’ll get a feel for daily life along the Arctic coast and what living close to nature here is like. Lunch is included as part of the experience, giving you time to reflect on the wilderness around you.

In the winter months, the cruise will be operated using boats suitable for the season and conditions - which may be a traditional working boat or a modern, sturdy vessel designed to handle colder weather and rougher seas. During the summer, this excursion is best enjoyed by cabin cruiser.

From March to October, Arctic Floating can be added to the Fjord & Wildlife Cruise for an additional cost.
